Explore Kalamos – Kastos - Mytikas 

To make the most of your day when visiting the islands of Kalamos, Kastos and the village of Mytika, we recommend leaving at about 8 am from the harbour of Zakynthos  town. These are the fabled places that the Olympian Gods Poseidon and Athena chose to spend their holidays. These lush green islands are also blessed with amazing beaches and crystal clear blue waters, their tranquility and beauty is still untouched by tourism.

The first stop is Atokos, a secluded Ionian Island, where we swim in Cligg Bay, a bay located on the Eastern coast, with deep clear waters and an exotic beach .

Our second stop takes us to St Aimilano beach in Kasto where the chapel of the saint is to be found. The valley is named Brusidi, with unspoilt beaches and just a little further down there is a small fishing port .

Continuing our journey we arrive in Kalamos. Discover an untouched, authentic location that appears to belong to another era. Its small picturesque port of Mulos and its beautiful beach of white pebbles and blue green waters makes you lose track of time and wish you could stay here forever. The coastline is covered with pine trees that stretch all the way to the water.

Next stop is the small harbour of Episkopis where you can savour local seafood.

Leaving Kalamos and Kastos behind us, we head opposite to Mytika, a small fishing village located on the mainland of  Greece. Mytika takes its name from its shape. It forms the shape of a nose in the Ionian sea. Its houses and shops resemble a minature of Venice, that are sprayed by the sea. Stop and enjoy a coffee, a beverage or an ice cream before we begin our journey to head back home. If we have time, we will make one last swim stop on the Island of Kefallonia before returning to Zakynthos, carrying with us lasting memories of beautiful beaches, the scent of pine trees, the sea and thoughts that redefine the meaning of life. Arrival at Zakynthos harbour at approximately 7-8pm.
